I took these photos of a step-down Hudson pickup within a Maine junkyard while in the early 1970s. I recall that it looked quite properly done... as if created by factory. I think that it experienced faded markings indicating that it had been employed by a dealership in Everett Massachusetts. At the time any vehicle could be had for $25. Sadly once the price of scrap went up a portable crusher was brought in.

First of all I want to say wonderful blog! I had a quick question in which I'd like to ask if you don't mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing. I have had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out. I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost just trying to figure out how to begin.
